Boxster

The Porsche 986 Boxster and 987 Boxster are watercooled classics that have helped to solidify Porsche's reputation as a premier sports car manufacturer. The 986 was introduced in 1997, with the 987 following in 2005. Both models feature a mid-engine design and a sleek, aerodynamic body style that harks back to the earliest Porsche racers.

The 986 and 987 Boxster`s are powered by watercooled flat-six engines, tuned for driver engagement - not lacking mid-range, but with plenty of top end. In addition to their impressive performance capabilities, the 986 and 987 are legendary for their exceptional handling and balance on the road.

While the 986 and 987 have now been succeeded by newer models, they have recently been granted Classic status by Porsche, recognising their importance, and position as perhaps the best handling open-top sports car available.
