Motul 8100 X-CESS 5W-40 Motor Oil

This 100% synthetic, high-performance motor oil carries Porsche A40 approval, and is recommended for 996 and 986 models (non-Mezger), but can be run in all 987.1, and 997.1 models as well.

The exact quantity of oil required will vary depending on how much is left in the system after draining - always start with these quantities and slowly add oil as indicated by the dipstick (986 / 996.1) or on-board gauge. If you haven`t already, we also recommend the fitment of a magnetic sump plug, enabling you to a) keep an eye on any ferrous debris floating around your engine, and b) pull that material (which is a normal part of wear) out of circulation.
