This spring loaded clamp, comes fitted with a clamp, to be removed once installed. This removes the need for special hose clamp pliers for installation. The location of the AOS makes using a normal worm-drive (or Jubilee) clip almost impossible, so this clamp is essential to avoid a frustrating afternoon in the workshop.
