Starting with the 997.1 Turbo, Porsche started adding brake cooling ducts / spoilers to the rear lower control arms, to direct cooling air to the rear disc rotors. With a little trimming using a Dremel or craft knife, you can fit these ducts to your earlier Porsche, resulting in lower brake temperatures, reduced fade, and increased performance. 

Combined with the upgraded GT3 front brake ducts, this represents possibly the best value for money brake upgrade available, and using genuine Porsche parts too.
