This Genuine Porsche short-throw gearshift unit replaces the entire shift mechanism in your car, providing a faster, more accurate gearshift and a more dynamic driving experience, without the too-short throws common to many aftermarket options.  This shift unit is compatible with all factory gear lever options, and was an optional extra at the time of purchase.

Note: As with all short-shift kits, shifting while the gearbox is warming up make require more effort - this can be minimised by using genuine Porsche Classic transmission fluid.
